Rosslyn Court has a 44 square metre studio space on the ground floor with a separate front entrance.
Our space has a PA and an AV system and stage lighting so users can have focussed productive rehearsal/performance/workshop time. The PA system is for performance enhancement only - we do not permit loud amplified electric music so as not to disturb our neighbours or our guests.
The space is suitable for concerts, workshops, lectures, concerts, rehearsals etc. There is a generous provision of electrical sockets.
The space is served by a simple bar and galley kitchen which allows for the provision of light refreshments via a hatch. There are two toilets and a shower in the adjoining lobby; these facilities are disability-friendly allowing level and spacious access but not fully adapted.
The fire exit arrangement (doors both ends and two alternative escape routes) allow for a generous maximum safe occupancy. However, for comfort and in keeping with our semi-residential setting we restrict numbers as follows:
Tables and seating are available and can be removed if not required.
There is no fixed hire rate - we will be happy to negotiate depending on the circumstances of the users and the use proposed.
